Travelling by TER with your bike

In low season, you can take your bike on board the TER when travelling between La Rochelle-Rochefort and La Rochelle-Saintes, subject to SNCF access conditions. It's the ideal way to get from Rochefort or Saintes stations to the sites you can discover with your La Rochelle Océan Pass.

To be able to take your bike on board*, you must buy a Bicycle Ticket from SNCF for €3 before your departure (please note that the cost of the Bicycle Ticket is not included in your La Rochelle Ocean Pass).

* subject to availability. To take advantage of the service in the best possible conditions, we advise you to avoid travelling with your bike during rush hour and to arrive at the station 20 minutes before departure.

Please note that in high season, as the number of places on board is limited, these spaces can fill up quickly. We recommend that you hire a bike once you arrive at your destination.
