Launched in April 2022, La Rochelle's new city pass is designed to be digital, practical, eco-friendly and economical, and aims to provide access to a variety of activities over a range of more than 100 km.

1% FOR THE PLANET
La Rochelle Ocean Pass, initiated by La Rochelle Tourism and Events, is a member of the "1% for the Planet". An easily recognisable label with a simple message: we donate 1% of the annual turnover generated by the pass to environmental associations.
SUPPORT SOFT MOBILITY & REDUCE CARBON IMPACT
The Rochelle Ocean Pass allows visitors to travel smoothly around the destination thanks to unlimited access to Yélo public transport in the La Rochelle conurbation (bus, ferry and sea bus). It also allows you to use the TER to Châtelaillon-Plage, Aytré, Angoulins or La Jarrie—an incentive to use soft mobility to experience the city and its surroundings.
A 20% discount is also applied to the pass for travellers arriving by train, bus or bicycle*, upon presentation of dated proof of purchase. The aim is to encourage travellers to reduce their carbon footprint. Coming on holiday to Charente-Maritime and soaking up La Rochelle and its surroundings is entirely possible by using public transport.

A DIGITAL PRODUCT & PRINT LIMITATION
- 100% digital: with the La Rochelle Ocean Pass application, the city pass is totally digital, accessible from your smartphone. This means that we avoid the massive production of plastic cards and cardboard holders. This means less waste from the pass (paper, plastic...). The Tourist Office of the La Rochelle conurbation is trying to limit the production and distribution of paper or plastic brochures and products.

The pass gives access to the must-see activities of La Rochelle: museums, catamaran cruises, Fort Boyard cruises, La Rochelle Towers, or even guided tours of the city... With longer durations, 2, 3 or 7 days, the pass allows you to discover the surroundings of the maritime town while taking your time. It is an opening towards remarkable places of the destination by including sites and activities partners on the conurbation of La Rochelle such as the Castle of Buzay, the fortified Church of Esnandes, the Mussel Museum, the aquatic centres of Périgny and Châtelaillon.

With the La Rochelle city pass, explorers can organise their stay in advance: get inspiration for their itinerary and book the visits that need to be booked before they come. On D-day, everything is in your pocket, you just have to show your QR code on the application at the entrance of each site.
